Transparent handyman pricing for customers in High Wycombe and surrounding areas, with no hidden charges and free estimates for most jobs.
My charges are based on the amount of time that I spend on completing your job, plus a charge for any materials that I use or parts that I supply for the work. I provide free estimates, and offer bespoke pricing for larger jobs.
General Handyman Services
Labour rate £55 per hour
Minimum one hour charge per visit
After first hour, charged at £13.75 per quarter hour (or part thereof)
Examples
The labour charge for a job that takes 45 minutes is £55.00
The labour charge for a job that takes 1 hour and 50 minutes is £110.00
Plumbing, Electrical & Technology Services
Labour charge £70 per hour
Minimum one hour charge per visit
After first hour, charged at £17.50 per quarter hour (or part thereof)

The labour charge for a job that takes 1 hour and 35 minutes is £122.50
My handyman, plumbing and electrical services page explains the jobs I most frequently carry out and how long they typically take to complete, helping you estimate the likely cost. It includes an explanation of what the job normally involves and how long it typically takes to complete, from which you can estimate the likely cost. If you have several small jobs, it is often more cost-effective to combine them into a single visit.
The amount of time spent on completing your job is measured from when I arrive at your property to when I leave. It includes any time spent:
- Investigating the cause of any problem that you have asked me to look into e.g. a water leak.
- Travelling to/from your property in order to source any equipment or materials that you wish me to supply for the job, except where I have agreed to obtain these in advance and bring them to your property with me.
There is no additional call-out charge and I do not include any time spent:
- Travelling to/from your property to carry out the job.
- When I am interrupted from working on your job – e.g. on the rare occasions where I need to make or receive a telephone call on an unrelated matter whilst at your property.
